As Colorado’s premier Waterfowl Outfitters, we provide the some of the most extensive knowledge, skills and expertise in business. Our world class hunts occur on some of the most prestigious properties in Northern Colorado, which are scouted consistently to optimize all of our hunting excursions. All of our hunts take place within 20 minutes to an hour North of Denver on private properties to which Waterfowl Haven Outfitters has exclusive hunting rights. Our well-established properties consist of lakes, corn fields, winter-wheat fields, grass and warm water slews. This year is promising to be record breaking as Colorado has seen more precipitation than it has in the past 15 years. Our hunters will hunt over first class decoy spreads, with the best waterfowl guides in the state, and among champion trained hunting dogs. This consistently keeps our clients happy and gun barrels hot!
The Front Range of Colorado hosts tens of thousands of resident and migratory Ducks and Geese a year.
Much of Colorado’s prime Duck hunting takes place in the month of October and stays strong through November and again from Mid-December through January. Colorado duck hunting is nothing short of amazing. The Front Range boasts great mixed bag hunting, many times shooting as many as five different species or more in a single hunt depending on weather and location.
Colorado’s Goose hunting is some of the best in the nation. It is estimated that on any given year, 600,000 greater and lesser Canadian Geese migrate through Colorado, in addition to the 100,000 resident Geese. The best time for Goose hunting is wide open from beginning to the end as we are fortunate enough to experience a reverse migration in February, allowing us to start all over again!
With over 8,000 birds harvested on our properties last year, it’s no wonder Waterfowl Haven Outfitters is second to none. We have the best Guides in the business. To experience the best waterfowl hunting in Colorado, call Waterfowl Haven Outfitters at 720-917-9662 to book your next great hunt!
